Apostle Dr. Walter Lee Jackson Sr.
Apostle Dr. Walter L. Jackson Sr., a devoted member of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ's Board of Apostles, and is the presiding Apostle for Region 8 Council of Churches USA which covers the entire state of South Carolina.
He is the pastor of Greater Refuge Temple Charleston and Refuge Temple St. Stephen, Pastoring for 66 years in Charleston and 15 years in St. Stephen.
Apostle Jackson was called to the ministry in 1959, and has actively contributed to the COOLJC's growth, overseeing expansions in transportation and community outreach. In addition to his pastoral role, he serves as a Regional Apostle, holds various educational roles, and is a skilled carpenter and Bible teacher.
Apostle Jackson is a humble man devoted to family, guided by the motto "To God Be the Glory" and the theme "I'm Running for My Life!" His favorite scripture is Joshua 1:8.
