Walter Lee J Jackson, Sr.
Apostle Dr. Walter Lee Jackson, Sr. is devoted member of the Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ. He is a longstanding member of the Board of Apostles (the governing Board of the Church Of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc.)
He is the presiding Prelate for Region 8 which covers the entire State of South Carolina. He is known as the praying, preaching and teaching Apostle. He is a humble man who will go out of his way to help anyone.
He has been Pastor at what is considered “the Mother Church- in the State of South Carolina for over 50 years. He also became the Pastor of Refuge Temple St. Stephen after a tornado tragedy destroyed the church and served for 16 years.
Apostle Dr. Jackson is also known as the “Go To” Apostle for many. His skills and his ability to see an issue, determine the problem and provide a solution.
Apostle Dr. Jackson was the first to record the International Convocations. He then became the “video man” where he trained a number of young people from his home church to help in the recording activities. This group was the youngest team to record services in The Brendan Byrne Arena. Many of those have gone on to work in the Audio/Visual as their Choice of career.
Apostle Dr. Jackson was married to the love of his life- (He calls her His Bride) - the late Mother Margaret Rachel Woods Jackson, who the Lord called home in January 2026 for 67 years. She was always by his side while making a great contribution to the International Church, the Region, Diocese and Local Assemblies.
The two were an Apostolic Couple whole many couples pattern their life after.
